It still hasn't been confirmed whether or not Charlotte Flair will defend the SmackDown Women's Championship against Becky Lynch inside a Cell at the upcoming Hell in a Cell PPV but during last night's episode of SmackDown Live, the two women continued their war...this time with words!
To be fair, while this sort of promo doesn't usually work, it's actually handled pretty well here and both women put forward great points which are bound to keep fans invested in the ongoing rivalry.
Interestingly, WWE definitely appears to have cooled on portraying Lynch as a heel and she's not just playing a more aggressive, badass version of her Lass Kicker character. With any luck, WWE will reveal whether or not they're actually going to fight inside a Cell soon. Right now, it seems unlikely.
