Monday night's episode of RAW was main evented by Charlotte Flair and Asuka. It was a competitive bout, but when RAW Women's Champion Rhea Ripley got involved, The Queen found herself taking the pinfall loss thanks to a rollup. She wasn't happy and proceeded to viciously attack the referee.
WWE would later announce a storyline suspension and fine of $100,000, and Flair has finally broken her silence on both.
"This whole thing sped past ridiculous, jumped over absurd and landed right on stupid," she says in the Tweets below. "The top two wrestlers in WWE having a classic match on the flagship show, and for what? To be ruined by a petulant child with Road Warriors cosplay shoulder pads."
That's obviously a shot at Ripley, and Flair would follow that insult with, "They found one other thing as well: audacity. The audacity to fine me. The audacity to physically remove me from MY RING and remove me from a building with MY NAME on the marquee. The fine? The suspension? Adam Pearce? All the same, a joke." Something tells us she'll be on RAW regardless this Monday!
Clearly, WWE is keen to push Flair as a top heel on RAW, a role that's always suited her best. Right now, it's looking like we could see a Triple Threat match for the brand's Women's Championship featuring Flair, Asuka, and Ripley and the upcoming WrestleMania Backlash event.
