Charlotte Flair handed Asuka her first loss at WrestleMania 34 in New Orleans two years ago, and since then The Queen has had The Empress of Tomorrow's number, defeating her on another couple of occasions. Flair picked up another victory over Asuka this week on Raw, but it was far from a clean win.

The NXT Women's Champion and Raw Women's Champion faced off in a typically great match last night, with both Superstars coming close to claiming victory with their respective submission holds. At one point Asuka looked like she'd gained the upper hand and may finish her opponent off, but after she was thrown to the outside, Nia Jax - who will challenge for the Raw Women's Championship at Backlash - made her way to the ramp wearing a Kabuki Warriors mask and facepaint.

With Asuka distracted, Jax hit her with a clothesline (we assume Flair had also distracted the ref, but that wasn't shown) and caused her to lose the match via count-out.

The Empress was already in a bad mood after what happened to Kairi Sane earlier in the night, so we would not want to be Nia Jax heading into this match next Sunday.
