Charlotte Flair is the new SmackDown LIVE Women's Champion after defeating Asuka in an impromptu title match on tonight's episode of the blue brand.

We only found out that the title was on the line when both Superstars were standing in the ring, but once the announcement was made, it seemed clear what was being set up to happen. After a pretty awesome back-and-forth match, The Queen managed to lock in the Figure-8 and forced The Empress of Tomorrow to tap out.

What does this mean for the WrestleMania Raw Women's Championship triple-threat match? Will both titles be on the line? Will we ever see Asuka on SmackDown again? We'll just have to wait and see.
