Charlotte Flair Indefinitely Suspended By WWE And Fined $100,000 For "Unprofessional Conduct"

WWE has announced today that Charlotte Flair has been indefinitely suspended and fined $100,000 for unprofessional conduct and "physically abusing" a referee.

The Queen faced former RAW Women's Champion in the main event of last night's RAW, but after she was distracted by current champion Rhea Ripley, the Empress of Tomorrow rolled Flair up for the 1-2-3. As you might imagine, she was livid and proceeded to brutally attack the referee (two officials attempted to help their colleague, but were unable to stop Flair).

This is a storyline suspension, of course, but it's a little strange that Flair would be pulled from television "indefinitely" so soon after returning to the squared circle following WrestleMania

The multi-time Women's Champion has been unable to defeat Asuka since ending her undefeated streak at the Show of Shows a few years ago, and it feels like we're building to a Triple Threat match for the title either at WrestleMania Backlash or one of the WWE events coming our way over the summer.

We know that WWE hopes to have fans in attendance for SummerSlam, so that's a likely destination for this match. For now, check out the actions that landed Flair her fine and suspension below:
