Charlotte Flair has always worked better as a heel but she's currently a babyface and on the receiving end of boos from fans after feuding with SmackDown Women's Champion Becky Lynch. While she's not receiving the same sort of polarising reaction as Universal Champion Roman Reigns, comparisons between him and Flair have been made by fans so how exactly does she feel about that?
"I think if I am being compared to him, I’m honored. I look at him as a top guy. He’s main evented WrestleMania … What? Three years now, in a row. He absolutely works his butt off, and always has to be on his A game. That’s a lot, a lot of pressure. To be considered one of the top stars for the company, that’s my main goal. So yeah, that’s extremely flattering. I still feel like I have a long way to go, but if I could be like him, heck yeah."
That's fair enough. Despite what fans may say about Reigns, he sells a lot of merchandise and is WWE's chosen one, headlining a number of WrestleManias in a row. He also has a good work ethic and his fellow Superstars (even those that leave the company) have nothing but good things to say. As a result, it's easy to see why Flair isn't too bothered by these comparisons and can live with the boos!
