Charlotte Flair Says She Will Defend The NXT Women's Championship "Across All Three Brands"

This may not sit well with some of the NXT faithful, but new NXT Champion Charlotte Flair has revealed that she plans on defending the title on NXT, Raw, and SmackDown. Find out more after the jump...

Charlotte Flair defeated Rhea Ripley to become the new NXT Women's Champion to open night 2 of WrestleMania, but that doesn't mean The Queen is going to make the black and gold brand her permanent kingdom.

Charlotte's victory came as quite a surprise because most of us assumed that a win would mean she'd return to NXT full-time, but it doesn't look like that's going to be the case.

Ahead of his full interview with the new champ this Thursday, talkSPORT's Alex McCarthy has revealed that Flair intends to defend the title on NXT, Raw and SmackDown.

While this is most likely being done to bring more eyes to NXT, it may not sit very well with the black and gold brand faithful who view the "developmental brand" as being just as important as the "main roster" shows, and feel a full-time member of the roster should hold the gold.

What do you guys think? Let us know in the usual place.
