Charlotte, The New Day, Sami Zayn And More Make The Move To SMACKDOWN LIVE Thanks To Superstar Shakeup
An awful lot of SmackDown Live Superstars ended up on RAW this past Monday, but the blue brand didn't fare too badly at all as the show now has new champions, tag teams, women, and more...
SmackDown Live's roster was left seriously depleted following Monday night's RAW, but don't fret too much as the blue brand soon got a boost during yesterday's show. Things kicked off with the arrival of United States Champion Kevin Owens, a move which makes sense now Intercontinental Champion Dean Ambrose is on RAW. He was soon confronted by Sami Zayn, proof perhaps that the rivalry between the two really is going to last forever!
Later in the night, The Shining Stars - Primo and Epico - made their presence felt when they attacked American Alpha, while Jinder Mahal appeared in a losing effort against Mojo Rawley. Shane McMahon would then flesh out the women's division with the arrival of Tamina (who fans appeared to be completely indifferent to) and, more importantly, Charlotte Flair. Video packages announced the upcoming arrival of Sin Cara, Rusev, and Lana.
Perhaps SmackDown Live's biggest acquisition is The New Day, a group who should shake up the tag team division in a huge way. They didn't make a physical appearance and are apparently "coming soon," something which is more than likely down to Kofi Kingston's recent ankle surgery. How do you think the show fared with these new additions? Let us know in the comments section below.
