Andre the Giant is one of the most iconic wrestlers to ever grace the squared circle. His career started in the 1960s and came to an abrupt end when he was just 46 years of age as he passed away in 1993. He then became the first person to be inducted in WWE's Hall of Fame that same year. Now, a documentary is in the works which is set to premiere on HBO at some point in the spring.
WWE has assisted in the creation of the documentary and lifelong wrestling fan Bill Simmons is in charge of the feature. The 30-second teaser is brief but will no doubt get you pretty excited.
Andre the Giant will be directed by Jason Hehir, who is an Emmy Award winner who was with HBO Sports from 2001-2008, and also produced their critically acclaimed 24/7 documentaries.
