Chelsea Green was among the wrestlers released by WWE earlier this year, and that came as a shock to both fans and the SmackDown Superstar (who only made a single appearance on the blue brand before breaking her wrist, an injury she also suffered while past of the NXT roster).
Green has since launched her own podcast, and as she continues to recover from surgery, it seems the popular wrestler is mulling over what comes next for her in-ring career. Recently, there have been rumblings about her being in talks with IMPACT Wrestling, but on Booker T's "Hall of Fame" podcast, Green made it clear she has no plans to lock herself into a long term contract.
"I really want to emulate the next six months after what Cody Rhodes did I thought that was really great for his career," she explained. "What he did and what I would like to do is be a free agent and try to be the hottest free agent I can be. Maybe I don’t sign anywhere until 2022, and I spend the rest of 2021 checking off bucket list matches that I have, and try to go to the top companies."
"I definitely want to go and see everybody at Impact and go back there. I’ve never worked for Ring of Honor. I would love to go there. I’ve already made connections at AAA in Mexico, and Japan, and Stardom. Of course, AEW is huge, and I was on their first show, All In I kind of want to hop around."
That seems wise, and as of right now, Green is enjoying her vacation alongside fellow WWE Superstar Matt Cardona (formerly known as Zack Ryder). Check out her latest bikini shots below:
