Chris Jericho Is Fairly Certain That We Won't See The American Badass Undertaker At WRESTLEMANIA 34
There's been a lot of speculation that The Undertaker will return at WrestleMania 34 this Sunday in his "American Badass" biker persona, but Chris Jericho seems fairly certain that's not going to happen...
Thought the buildup has been a little out of the ordinary (to say the least), The Undertaker is expected to show up at WrestleMania this Sunday to answer John Cena's challenge.
But, will it be the classic interpretation, or his other persona The American Badass?
Well, one man that seems fairly certain it won't be the latter is Chris Jericho, who stated that he's "100% certain" that the 'Taker we see at 'Mania this weekend will be the hat and coat-wearing Dead Man.
Y2J explained why during an appearance on Buster Open Radio:
“American Bad Ass is a pretty cool character, and Taker loves it, but guess which character Vince McMahon loves? It’s the Undertaker, Vince’s greatest creation. I’ll be the devil’s advocate to you guys - I would feel a little disappointed if it was the American Bad Ass, because I love the Undertaker, and I love that entrance, and you’ve been out there when you hear that bell and the druids chanting - it’s second to none.
There’s never been an entrance like that in wrestling, in my opinion, and we’ve been waiting for it, teasing for it, for so much I feel if it was the American Bad Ass it would be a little bit of a downer - for me.”
As cool as it would be to see The Undertaker ride that Harley down to the ring one more time, Jericho makes a great point. That iconic entrance is something fans would not want to be robbed of seeing at The Showcase of the Immortals.
