Rumour has it that Brock Lesnar is now a free agent, though there are conflicting reports about whether it's just The Beast's merchandising deal with WWE which has reached its end. Either way, we haven't seen Lesnar since he lost the WWE Championship to Drew McIntyre at WrestleMania, and all eyes are on what comes next for him.
During a recent edition of his "Saturday Night Special" YouTube series, Chris Jericho suggested that it's highly likely Lesnar isn't a free agent because he's a WWE guy at heart and they willingly sign him to huge deals. However, should it ever be possible, the Demo God admitted that he'd love the opportunity to square off with The Beast in All Elite Wrestling.
"Would we love to have Brock in AEW? Yeah, sure," he said. "I’d love to work with Brock, we’ve never had a match on TV ever and we have a lot of water under the bridge, shall we speak that would probably add a lot of extra fire to it.” Jericho added, “I think Brock will be in WWE for as long as he wants to be in the business."
That "water under the bridge" comment is likely a reference to the well-publicised backstage altercation which took place between the two men at SummerSlam a few years ago when Lesnar busted Randy Orton open. Unfortunately, it's far more likely we'll see Lesnar back in WWE doing the, unfortunately, lazy matches he's become known for in recent years.
What would you guys like to see happen?
