Christian Shares His Thoughts On Potentially Getting Cleared To Compete By WWE

WWE Hall of Famer Edge recently shocked the world by returning to the squared circle, and now former World Heavyweight Champion Christian has shared his thoughts on potentially following in his footsteps...

We've never really had the full story about why Christian was stopped from wrestling in WWE, though it has been reported that it could have something to do with multiple concussions (something WWE really doesn't like to address after what happened to Chris Benoit).

Bizarrely, the former World Heavyweight Champion still hasn't been inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, but could an in-ring return alongside Edge be something that happens in the not too distant future?

During a recent interview with Booker T, Edge talked about being forced to retire in 2014 and whether he would return. "It’s one of those things, right? It’s a completely different injury. I’m pretty content with all that I’ve accomplished in WWE. I pretty much accomplished everything I ever wanted to do except main event WrestleMania, and let’s be honest, how many people actually get a chance to do that?"

"I’m forty-six years old, I had some concussion issues," he continued. "It’s just a matter of, I don’t see it happening. I’m medically disqualified. Not sure how I would ever get cleared."

It would be great to see Christian get One. More. Match, but he's clearly happy with his career, and his health should ultimately come first. Check out his comments on the matter in the player below:
