Last night's RAW was main evented by World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest going one-on-one with WWE Hall of Famer Rey Mysterio.
The Judgement Day got involved, prompting Dragon Lee to run in and make the assist. Ultimately, the distraction allowed Priest to pick up the 1-2-3 after hitting the Master of the 619 with a South of Heaven chokeslam from the middle rope.
Shortly after the bell rang, Drew McIntyre attacked his Clash at the Castle opponent from behind, hitting him with a Future Shock DDT. However, a distraction from the rest of The Judgement Day allowed Priest to chokeslam the challenger through the announce table.
The champion was then left standing tall over McIntyre as RAW went off the air.
That wasn't the only build to Clash at the Castle we got as Intercontinental Champion Sami Zayn's issues with Chad Gable continued. After Alpha Academy members Akira Tozawa, Maxxine Dupri, and Otis were once again humiliated, the Olympian attacked Zayn and forced his faction to serve as a distraction.
Gable sent Otis tumbling into Tozawa and Dupri, leaving him to believe Zayn was responsible. He then hit the babyface with a power slam (much to Gable's delight) before carrying his teammates to the back. It was later confirmed that the Intercontinental title will be on the line at Clash at the Castle when Zayn and Gable square off.
Elsewhere in the show, the stage was set for Scotland's own Isla Dawn and Alba Fyre to challenge Jade Cargill and Bianca Belair for the Women's Tag Team Championships.
WWE has also started the build to Money in the Bank, with Jey Uso and Lyra Valkyria confirming they'll both compete in the men's and women's ladder matches next month.
