Last week's SmackDown saw Paul Heyman make his long-awaited return to WWE to reveal that CM Punk will be the fifth man in Roman Reigns' Bloodline at Survivor Series: WarGames

The Head of the Table didn't look overly pleased and yesterday evening's show saw Reigns, Punk, and Heyman sit down to settle their differences.

Reigns made it clear that he doesn't need or want the Second City Saint's help, though Punk would make it clear that he's only there to get revenge for what Solo Sikoa did to his friend earlier this year. Heyman reasoned that it's within their interests to work together because, if not, Solo's Bloodline will destroy them both.

An uneasy alliance was formed, but only after Punk made it clear that the Wiseman will owe him a favour for stepping in. After the Best in the World left, the OTC wondered what that might be, only for the WWE Hall of Famer to play coy by suggesting they focus on Survivor Series instead.

Elsewhere in the show, Jacob Fatu picked up a win over Jey Uso to score the Bloodline an advantage at the PLE later this evening.

You can check out this phenomenal segment in full, along with some more highlights from SmackDown, in the X posts below.
