CM Punk Finally Returns To WWE...As Part Of WWE BACKSTAGE On Fox Sports 1

CM Punk has finally returned to WWE...sort of! The Best in the World made a shocking appearance on last night's episode of WWE Backstage and you can find more on what that means after the jump!

After nearly six years away from WWE, CM Punk made his unannounced return during last night's episode of WWE Backstage on Fox Sports 1. His iconic entrance theme hit right at the end of the show and he then faced the camera and said, "It’s as simple as this: Just when they think they’ve got the answers, I change the culture. I’ll see you here next week."

It's since been confirmed that Punk will appear on the show from next week onwards and fans are now getting excited about the possibility this could lead to his in-ring return for the company. 
 
As WWE.com notes, "Punk left an unforgettable legacy during his WWE career, including holding the WWE Championship for a remarkable 434 days. Since parting ways with WWE, Punk has gone on to author comic books for Marvel, compete in the UFC and, more recently, star in the horror film 'Girl on the Third Floor,' released in theaters last month."
