CM Punk was recently asked on Twitter which WrestleMania is his favourite and he issued a rather surprising response. As you may recall, he left WWE in 2014 months before the Show of Shows as WWE wanted him to face Triple H during the PPV (a match he had no interest in being part of).
That led to Daniel Bryan taking on The Game at the Grandest Stage of Them All and the leader of the Yes Movement went on to earn a chance to enter the main event an win the WWE title.
Now, it turns out that the WrestleMania Punk missed is, in fact, his favourite! During his infamous podcast interview with Colt Cabana, Punk talked about being happy for Bryan getting the chance to main event the iconic PPV so perhaps that's why this one stands out to him (his wife AJ Lee also ended up walking out of WrestleMania as the Divas Champion).
It's no secret that Punk aspired to main event WrestleMania but it's awesome seeing how happy he was for his friend.
