Earlier this year, it was reported that WWE officials were in talk with the legendary CMLL (Consejo Mundial de Lucha Libre) wrestling promotion of Mexico. At the time, there was a lot of speculation that we could see talent from that promotion in WWE but it's not quite that exciting.

Instead, it's now been revealed (by Planeta Wrestling) that they're discussing bringing CMLL conent to the WWE Network.

Chances are that this is all part of WWE's plan for a tiered pricing system that will include wrestling form a number of outside, indie wrestling companies. Needless to say, it's a smart move by WWE and one that could hurt some of the other streaming services out there that offer wrestling from a number of promotions.

We don't know how far along talks are but will keep you updated.
