Cody Rhodes managed to defeat AJ Styles at Backlash, but he won't have long to rest because last night's episode of SmackDown opened with Nick Aldis revealing his next Undisputed WWE Championship challenger: Logan Paul.

Yes, the United States Champion will face the American Nightmare in the main event of King and Queen of the Ring in Saudi Arabia...with both titles set to be on the line.

If Cody wins, he'll become a Grand Slam Champion and if their heated promo was anything to go, these two will do great things in the ring together.

It was also a big night for The Bloodline, with Solo Sikoa claiming that Roman Reigns has made him interim Tribal Chief. We're not sure whether to believe him, but with Paul Heyman recently confirming he hasn't spoken to the Head of the Table since WrestleMania, this storyline remains incredibly intriguing.

Elsewhere on SmackDown, Nia Jax defeated Naomi, Jade Cargill defeated Piper Niven, and Bianca Belair defeated Candice LeRae to advance in the Queen of the Ring tournament.

On the men's side, Carmelo Hayes defeated Baron Corbin, Tama Tonga defeated Angelo Dawkins, and Randy Orton defeated AJ Styles to move forward in the King of the Ring tournament.

LA Knight vs. Santos Escobar and Michin vs. Tiffany Stratton will take place at non-televised WWE Live events this weekend.
