Cody Rhodes Says He Turned Down An Offer From WWE "A Few Weeks Ago"

Before leaving WWE, Cody Rhodes was forced to dress as Stardust but he's since made a name for himself on the Indy Wrestling scene and it doesn't sound like he's going to be tempted back by them quite yet.

Rumours have been swirling for weeks now that Cody Rhodes and other members of the Bullet Club could be WWE bound in the New Year. As of right now, the former IWGP United States Champion is currently touring the UK for a live version of Bruce Pritchard's "Something To Wrestle" and during a Q&A with members of the crowd, he addressed the possibility of a (long overdue?) WWE return.

Well, don't get your hopes up because Cody revealed that he "passed on the WWE offer a few weeks ago." That means we can probably forget about any sort of Royal Rumble appearance then!

You can't really blame Rhodes because he wasn't treated particularly well by WWE when he was last there and it definitely feels like there's more he can do outside the company. It's also thought that he'll be a big part of the All Elite Wrestling promotion and if that gets a TV deal, then he probably won't go back to work for Vince McMahon for quite some time to come. As always, stay tuned for more.
