Last night's RAW was headlined by Cody Rhodes vs. Grayson Waller and, after the American Nightmare picked up the win, Paul Heyman made his way to the ring flanked by a group of off-duty (well, suspended) NYPD cops.
The Wiseman acknowledged that it must have stung to be "Will Smith'd" across the face by The Rock but implored Rhodes to rescind the challenge he made at Elimination Chamber for a 1-on-1 match with the Brahma Bull.
Explaining that, like many fans, he'd once been a fan of The Rock, Rhodes fired up and told the manager that he's done being nice. He proceeded to attack those cops with a steel chair and issued Heyman a final warning: "The Bloodline isn't hunting me...I'm hunting The Bloodline!"
The Rock will be on SmackDown this Friday and we're guessing it's then that he'll address Rhodes' challenge.
The fan-favourite has some backup from World Heavyweight Champion Seth Rollins heading into WrestleMania and, right now, we're expecting those two to take on Reigns and The Rock during Night 1 before their respective title matches during Night 2.
"Look, he's [The Rock] a specimen," Rollins recently said while promoting Elimination Chamber. "He's a specimen, but he hasn't had a match in a decade. John Cena, two times at WrestleMania. Had a couple of stuff, you know, tag matches, some appearances, here and there."
"Look, I'm on a different level right now. I'm in my prime. I'm operating at a level so high above any level he's ever operated at. He could not lace my boots in the best years of his career. Let alone, right now."
