Since leaving WWE, Cody Rhodes has found a great deal of success both on the independents and in promotions like Ring of Honor and New Japan Pro Wrestling. Given how he was never treated as a main event talent by Vince McMahon, it would be easy to imagine him feeling resentful towards the WWE Chairman but it turns out he has a very different take on his failings with the company.

Asked by a fan on Twitter about whether he believes McMahon holds back NXT talent, Rhodes pointed out that's not the case and explained why Stardust never really managed to take off.

Rhodes is clearly happy doing his own thing for now but given his change of attitude and the fact he's making such a splash outside of WWE, it's easy to imagine him one day returning and this time
getting a proper main event push. What do you guys think of his remarks? Let us know your thoughts below.
