We had hoped tonight's rumors would turn out to be just that, but we now have confirmation that SmackDown LIVE Women's Champion Becky Lynch will not be cleared to compete at Survivor Series against Raw Women's Champ Ronda Rousey.
Earlier tonight, we brought you some fan-recorded footage of The Irish Lass Kicker getting punched in the chops by Nia Jax, and as SmackDown got underway they showed it from a much better angle, while announcing that Lynch has suffered a severe concussion and a broken face (their bizarre terminology, not ours).
This is a massive shame, and we're not liking the sound of that "severe" concussion, which could actually keep Becky on the shelf for a while and may well lead to her relinquishing the title.
