John Cena is a sixteen-time WWE Champion and speculation has been running rampant for a while now that he could finally break Ric Flair's record with a seventeenth win in 2018. We'll have to wait and see on that front but talk of him having a big match at WrestleMania may have been confirmed as the leader of the Cenation has announced today that he'll compete in the Royal Rumble.
Cena has already won two Royal Rumble matches in 2008 and 2013 and regardless of whether or not he emerges victorious here, the stage could be set for him to find an opponent for the Showcase of the Immortals. At last year's Royal Rumble, Cena defeated AJ Styles to tie Flair's record but ultimately lost the title to Bray Wyatt in an Elimination Chamber match the following month.
Now, Cena joins Randy Orton, Shinsuke Nakamura, and Elias. Who do you think might end up winning the Rumble? What would you like to see from Cena at the event? As always, be sure to let us know your thoughts on this news in the comments section and see Cena's Tweet down below.
