Corey Graves Responds To Criticisms Over How He Talks About Female Wrestlers During WWE Commentary

Corey Graves has hit back at criticisms over the way he talks about female wrestlers while calling the action on WWE shows, and he's certainly not backing down. Find out what's been happening right here...

Corey Graves was once hailed as the best thing to happen to WWE in terms of commentary, but his persona on the main roster has definitely rubbed a lot of fans up the wrong way. While it's clear he's playing a character, Graves has leaned into that so much that many feel he's as unbearable as Michael Cole was during his poorly received heel run several years ago.

Graves received a lot of backlash for derogatory comments made about Dana Brooke recently, though he'd later claim it was part of a storyline (like many things in WWE, it led nowhere). Now, though, he's addressed wider complaints regarding how he talks about female wrestlers.

It all started with a Tweet from Alyssa Marino and, as you can see via the thread of Tweets below, Graves only ended up digging himself deeper and deeper. The one fair point he does make, however, is that Carmella is his fiancee and someone he can probably get away with talking about in that way on television. For casual viewers who don't know that...well, it's a little cringe.

Check out what Graves had to say below and let us know your take in the comments section.
