Could Brock Lesnar End Up Staying With WWE Beyond SUMMERSLAM This Month?

There's been a lot of speculation that Brock Lesnar's Universal Championship match against Roman Reigns at SummerSlam will be his last but a new report reveals that there's a possibility he'll stick around...

With Brock Lesnar lining up a fight against Daniel Cormier in UFC, it appears as if his WWE days are numbered. After all, he needs time to train and it honestly feels like his story has run its course, especially not WWE is going with him being someone who doesn't care about the WWE Universe or being Universal Champion (two things which are probably accurate in real-life in all honesty).

Well, don't go banking on him losing the title at SummerSlam quite yet! According to Dave Meltzer, there's a very good chance that Vince McMahon will attempt to keep Lesnar around by offering him a big money deal, especially if he could then turn
keeping The Beast away from UFC into a storyline. That's easy enough to understand because it would generate a huge amount of publicity for WWE.

"Brock signed a 3 months contract, a 2 fight deal with WWE and it’s due again," he explains. "I’m sure if Brock has his way he’ll sign another 3-month deal and tell UFC, ‘hey I’m gonna do this again, just a couple more things.’ He very well may lose the championship [at SummerSlam] but if he doesn’t I wouldn’t be surprised." In other words, we'll have to wait and see.

Lesnar could easily stick around for a few more months, though, and
still fight in UFC so it will be very interesting seeing how things play out for him when he clashes with Roman Reigns this month.
