Could NXT Superstar Hideo Itami Possibly Be Moving Up To 205 LIVE Soon?

According to PW Insider and various news outlets, Hideo Itami could possibly be moving up to the main roster - but not to join RAW or SmackDown LIVE . WWE is looking to expand the cruiserweight division by adding international talent to 205 Live, and that reportedly includes Itami and recently released two time TNA X Division champion Rockstar Spud.

Itami signed to WWE back in July of 2014. Back then, Itami (who's name was KENTA) was a huge star in Japan and the man who originally used the GTS. Since then, Itami has been plagued with injures, ruining his momentum and signifcantly delaying any plans WWE had for him.

Recently, Itami has returned and shows signs of the old Kenta. He's been having great matches with the likes of Bobby Roode and Aleister Black; and he's seemingly found his groove adjusting to WWE's style of wrestling. There's no word yet on when Itami will debut on the main roster, but we'll keep you updated if any more news regarding Itami's debut resurfaces.
