Could We Actually See John Cena VS. The Rock On The Big Screen In An Upcoming DC Superhero Movie?

WWE fans have already seen The Rock and John Cena square-off in the ring on a couple of occasions, but could that classic feud find its way to the big screen?

Though it's just a rumor for now, That Hashtag Show reports that both John Cena and Joshua Sasse are "tentative" contenders to land the lead role of Shazam in the upcoming DC Comics adaptation. Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson has already been cast as Shazam's nemesis, Black Adam, which means that - as surreal as it sounds - if Cena was to land the part, we would eventually see the two go head-to-head on film as a pair of super-powered comic book characters.

Black Adam won't actually appear in the first Shazam movie according to the latest reports, but they are certain to come face-to-face eventually.
