With Mandy Rose sent back to NXT, Dana Brooke has been left without a tag team partner. That led to her taking some time off, but she recently returned to RAW for a match against Shayna Baszler.

For reasons which still aren't entirely clear, Corey Graves buried Brooke on commentary, making comments like: "I’m all for giving people time to develop, giving people time to realize their potential, but on a long enough timeline, you gotta cut your losses."

He'd later add, "You can give me a chest full of tools, that doesn’t mean I can build you a house, OK? It’s a matter of putting things together, and Dana Brooke, in my opinion, hasn’t exactly done that." Some have argued that it might be Vince McMahon feeding Graves lines, but either way, it feels like a step too far to have buried Brooke in such a spiteful, blunt way.

Now, Brooke appears to have fired back at Graves. Taking to her Instagram Stories, she said: "You CANNOT entertain everything regardless if its INDIRECT or DIRECT!! Let people do what they do best . TALK!! Y’all act like y’all gone die because somebody said something about you. IT IS NOT THAT DEEP!! You cannot stop and throw stones at every dog that barks . ONCE you entertain a clown , you BECOME ONE [woman waving emoji] YOU THE CLOWN [clown emoji] I’M THE QUEEN [queen emoji] I KEEP PUSHING THRO! WATCH ME WORK."

We'll find out during next week's episode of RAW whether this was part of a storyline or Graves just being an a**hole, but it wouldn't surprise if Brooke is weighing up her options after this...

Dollars to donuts this was someone in the back talking through the WWE puppets sitting ringside. The WWE is too controlling and scripted for this to be an honest opinion or shoot. The product has become very fake and extremely stale.
