Daniel Bryan returned to WWE last week after being off TV for the past few months, and he opened last night's episode of SmackDown to appear as a guest on the KO Show. Bryan hinted that he's planning to zero in on the Intercontinental Championship, but when Owens suggested that they form tag team, Daniel admitted that he liked the idea since he's never held the Tag Team Titles.
Both men then teamed up with The Street Profits to face off against Dolph Ziggler, Robert Roode, Cesaro & Shinsuke Nakamura in an 8-man tag, with Montez Ford picking up the win after a Frog Splash.
After the show, Bryan appeared on Talking Smack to make the somewhat surprising announcement that he sees himself having just one more run as a full time Superstar, hinting that retirement might be in his not-too-distant future.
It looks like Bryan is going to be feuding with Sami Zayn for the IC title, but we think it would be a massive shame if he didn't get to challenge Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship if this is indeed to be his final full-time run. The storyline is already mapped out - all WWE needs to do is capitalize.
