During Friday night's episode of SmackDown, Daniel Bryan challenged Roman Reigns for the Universal Championship with the caveat being that, if he lost, he would have to leave the blue brand forever, Unfortunately, the Head of the Table did emerge victorious, and that's left a lot of questions surrounding what comes next for the Leader of the Yes Movement.
Well, on WWE.com, Bryan has now been moved to the "Alumni" section of the website. That's where Superstars go when they're either no longer with the company or stop being active wrestlers.
While Bryan was only "banished" from SmackDown, we've been hearing a lot of chatter online about his WWE future, and he's talked openly in interviews about considering retirement so he can spent more time with his wife and children and a desire to wrestle for other companies.
It's likely this is just a work and that Bryan is considered an Alum because he's now undrafted. Common sense says that the former WWE Champion will take a little time off before heading to RAW or NXT, though given the quality of the Monday night show, we're obviously hoping he heads to the latter!
We'll be sure to keep you updated as we learn more about Bryan's WWE status.
