Daniel Bryan May Be Cleared To Wrestle, But It Sounds Like WWE Is Going To Be Keeping A Very Close Eye On Him

As we all know by now, Daniel Bryan was medically cleared to return to in-ring action this past Tuesday - however, a new report indicates that his progress is going to be monitored very closely at first...

This past Tuesday on SmackDown LIVE, Daniel Bryan mixed it up in the ring again for the first time in 2 years, and it was glorious (sorry, Mr. Roode) to behold. Bryan did end up taking a fairly nasty-looking bump, which was a cause for concern for many fans - and it sounds like they're not the only ones that are worried.

Though Daniel is reportedly in great health and is indeed fully cleared to compete, Dave Meltzer reckons WWE will be monitoring him differently than any other Superstar in the company. Bryan is expected to be medically evaluated after every match until they feel comfortable enough about his condition:

"There will be emphasis on his health from every doctor in the company, and management, and the slightest bit of an issue will be magnified most likely."

This isn't really that surprising - after all, it's almost unheard of for any athlete to be forced to retire due to injury only to get themselves medically cleared years later.

Bryan is obviously going to be rearing to cut loose now that he's back, but let's hope he takes things slow... at least for the time being. Oh, and maybe known those suicide dives on the head (no pun intended).
