"The New" Daniel Bryan is still our WWE Champion after retaining against AJ Styles at TLC.
Their match was as physical as you'd expect, with some very stiff shots and near-falls. Ultimately, the former leader of the YES! Movement scored a 3-count with a small-package after countering one from AJ. Many expected Bryan to get up to some skulduggery and maybe hit what's now become a signature low blow, but it was a clean win to end a very fun back-and-forth bout.
Something to note for old-school Daniel Bryan fans: he did the "I have a 5 count!" call to the ref while he was wearing out Styles in the corner!
Is this the end of their feud? That remains to be seen, but we reckon there'll be at least one more match between these two - with a third man entering the fray to keep things fresh, perhaps. Tune into SmackDown LIVE this Tuesday to see what happens.
