Putting the Royal Rumble in a stadium is fun but problematic because by the time WWE Superstars run to the ring, they're completely blown out and struggling to catch their breath. As a result, it's hard not to wonder how WWE plans to deal with that next year when the PPV takes place from Chase Field.
Well, Daniel Bryan has shed some light on that in a new interview and it sounds like the company has come up with a pretty clever solution which should make for some unique viewing next January.
"It’s an incredible stadium," the leader of the Yes Movement recently remarked. "We were actually just talking about what the metamorphosis would look like. Right now, the thought is that we’d come out of the dugout. We’ve never had a Royal Rumble in a baseball stadium before. I’m super-psyched. I’ve never come out of a dugout to go into a wrestling show before."
As for his goal to become WWE Champion, an opportunity he'll fight for at Super Show-Down, Bryan added: "That’s kind of what it feels like to me. But I also feel like the journey is never complete. There’s never going to be this end goal where it’s like, ‘Okay, now I am satisfied.’ It’s like a musician who just always wants to play music." What do you guys think comes next for Bryan?
