When Big Cass returned to WWE earlier this year, his first feud was with Daniel Bryan with the storyline being that the big man wanted to take out the leader of the Yes Movement because he felt he was unworthy of receiving the WWE Universe's adulation. However, some questionable behaviour behind the scenes led to him being released and he's now attempting to break into the Indy scene instead.
During SummerSlam weekend, Bryan was asked for his thoughts on working with Big Cass and while it's clear that he wasn't that great in the ring, his former foe had nothing but good things to say.
"I really liked working with Big Cass," he revealed. "I thought that he progressed a lot in the time that we were working together. I honestly wish him the best of luck. I like him a lot as a person and as a wrestler so I hope he does really well." After hearing those remarks, it's hard not to wonder if those reports blew things out of out proportion because we know Bryan is honest.
Regardless, we'll no doubt hear more from Big Cass about his release once he's able to talk about it in the coming months. What do you guys think? Let us know your thoughts in the usual place.
