Daniel Bryan Suggests That If WWE Hasn't Cleared Him To Wrestle By WRESTLEMANIA, They Probably Never Will

Daniel Bryan recently revealed that some new treatment has paid off, and he's been cleared to return to the ring by his own doctors. This, and the fact that the SmackDown LIVE GM has become actively involved in the ongoing feud between Shane McMahon and Kevin Owens, has led to a lot of speculation that WWE may also be clearing him to wrestle soon.

Well, if that is the case, the company is doing a great job of keeping it under wraps.

During a new interview with Sports Illustrated, Bryan suggests that if he hasn't been cleared by WrestleMania in April, that he probably never will be:

I assume that if I don’t wrestle by WrestleMania, I probably won’t be wrestling with WWE at all,” said Bryan. “That’s my assumption.” It’s not a black and white answer. There are a lot of issues with me getting cleared by WWE. They have a very strict protocol, which is a good thing, but the timeline of all that happening was not the best for me. It’s an interesting situation that will develop.”

Some still believe that whole thing is part of a storyline and that Bryan has already been cleared, but that might be wishful thinking at this stage. All we can do is wait and see how things shake out.
