Daniel Bryan Will Face Sami Zayn For The Intercontinental Championship At WRESTLEMANIA

Sami Zayn promised Daniel Bryan a shot at his Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania if Drew Gulak managed to defeat Shinsuke Nakamura on Friday Night SmackDown, and that's exactly what happened.

Daniel Bryan will face (or has faced already since the matches are pre-taped... this is so weird) Sami Zayn for the Intercontinental Championship at WrestleMania.

The "Great Liberator" had promised Bryan a shot at the gold if his new protege Drew Gulak was able to defeat Shinsuke Nakamura on SmackDown, and after a mediocre encounter which saw The King of Strong Style dominate for most of the match, the former Cruiserweight Champion pulled out the win with a Victory Roll pin.

Zayn vs. Bryan has the potential to be a great match, but since we already know the latter will be (or is now) quarantining after 'Mania, it seems unlikely that he'll win the title. Damn cortonavirus can't even let us have a spoiler free WrestleMania.
