The final SmackDown of the decade was a massive let down in many respects, but we did find out who'll be challenging "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt for the Universal Championship at the Royal Rumble.
After a few false starts, the triple threat match to determine the new No. 1 contender finally got underway, but when Roman Reigns attacked Baron Corbin and fought him to the back, it came down to Daniel Bryan and The Miz.
These two old rivals had a pretty good back-and-forth bout, with The A-Lister hanging with the Leader of the YES! Movement from a technical standpoint. In the end, though, Bryan was able to hook in the Label Lock to force a submission.
Does DB have a chance of dethroning the seemingly unstoppable Fiend at the Rumble? It seems unlikely, but we should be in for a hell of a match.
