On Monday, we heard that Dave Bautista had been talking to WWE about returning to the company (possibly for that rumoured match at WrestleMania). Now, a new report from PW Insider reveals that the Guardians of the Galaxy star did indeed meet with WWE officials last Thursday at the company's headquarters in Stamford.

Bautista has said on a number of occasions that he wants to return for at least one more WWE run but there have also been rumblings about him being made an offer by All Elite Wrestling.

Now, the rumour mill has gone into overdrive because Chris Jericho - who signed a huge deal with AEW - has shared a photo of him meeting with the wrestler turned Hollywood star. If Bautista does end up signing with the newly launched company, that would obviously be a huge blow to WWE and would mark the end of any sort of relationship he has with them.

With any luck, things will start becoming clearer in the coming weeks so stay tuned for additional updates.
