Dean Ambrose's final appearance on RAW took place the night after WrestleMania but he's not quite finished with WWE just yet and the company is actually going to air his final match alongside the rest of The Shield this coming Sunday.

Last night, the Lunatic Fringe was obviously nowhere to be seen during the broadcast but once the cameras stopped rolling, he made an appearance to thank the fans in Montreal.

The way WWE has handled his departure is definitely interesting and while rumours continue to swirl that he'll head to All Elite Wrestling, it's hard not to wonder if he has something else planned and that's why WWE has been so supportive. Either way, they no doubt hope he will one day return.

We'll keep you guys updated once we hear more on what Ambrose has planned next.
