In the first of two major title changes at TLC, Dean Ambrose bested his old Shield buddy Seth Rollins to become the new Intercontinental Champion.

This match was... fine. It was a very solid technical bout and both Superstars sold the emotion of the angle well, but at the end of the day, these guys have faced each other so many times now that they really needed to pull something new out of the bag this time. Granted, this is only the first match in for this feud, but many fans will have been expecting more from what should have been an all-out war given the backstory.

At any rate, Rollins looked to be in firm control after wearing Ambrose out, but he took his eye off the ball and allowed The Lunatic Fringe to recover just enough to hit Dirty Deeds for the clean win.

Tune in to Raw tomorrow night to find out where this rivalry goes from here.
