Over the weekend, we started hearing speculation that Dean Ambrose could remain with WWE moving forward despite it being officially confirmed that he has no plans to renew his current contract.

Well, Dave Meltzer has now revealed that he's heard from backstage personnel that nothing has changed with Ambrose and, as of right now, he still intends to leave WWE. It's said that the current plan is for the Lunatic Fringe to square off with Roman Reigns at WrestleMania but that would be a little odd considering The Shield reunited on RAW this Monday!

If Ambrose is intent on leaving WWE, chances are he'll arrive in All Elite Wrestling.

Nothing is set in stone, though, and the signs are all pointing to his future
being very different to what we could have imagined a few months ago. What do you guys think? Share your thoughts below.
