It's being reported today that Dean Ambrose is set to return to RAW tonight for the first time since suffering a triceps tendon injury at the end of 2017. No details have been provided in regards to what will be happening but seeing as we know Seth Rollins and Dolph Ziggler have a contract sighing for their Intercontinental Championship match at SummerSlam, it's fair to say he'll factor into that somehow.
After all, Ziggler will have Drew McIntyre in his corner so it only makes sense that Ambrose will be there on Sunday to even the odds and set the stage for a feud between the two teams. With any luck, that will ultimately lead to a long overdue heel turn for the Lunatic Fringe, something which was rumoured to be in the works before The Shield reunion was abruptly ended brought to an end last year.
As always, plans change and we'll be sure to keep you updated later this evening in regards to whether or not Ambrose actually ends up making his return to WWE's flagship show. What do you think?
