Despite A Team Hell No Reunion, This Week's SMACKDOWN LIVE Was The Lowest Rated Episode Of 2018

This week's episode of SmackDown Live wasn't exactly a star-studded affair but it brought Daniel Bryan and Kane back together and once again put the spotlight on Sanity. Unfortunately, viewers didn't tune in!

Unfortunately for SmackDown Live, Tuesday's episode was the least watched instalment of 2018 with only 2.135 million viewers. The show was headlined by Daniel Bryan vs. Luke Harper and the advertised Jeff Hardy vs. Shinsuke Nakamura match for the United States Championship was cancelled due to injury and Hardy faced Eric Young instead before things ultimately broke down.

However, the show did wrap up with Kane returning for a Team Hell No reunion so here's hoping that increases interest in the blue brand, especially as Extreme Rules is right around the corner.

This number is particularly disappointing because SmackDown Live wasn't up against any big competition this week. However, AJ Styles, Carmella, Charlotte, Asuka, and a number of other big stars were absent from the show so that could explain why ratings weren't great. What did you think of the latest episode? Are you glad that Team Hell No is back? Share your thoughts in the usual place.
