Despite That Rumored Repacking, It Sounds Like Dolph Ziggler Will Be Leaving WWE This October

Despite there being talk of Dolph Ziggler getting a new gimmick, it sounds like the Showoff is actually just getting ready to bring his WWE career to an end before his contract expires this October...

There's no denying that Dolph Ziggler is one of WWE's most talented performers but ever since that concussion brought his World Heavyweight Championship run to an end, he's struggled to make much of an impact on RAW and SmackDown Live. After a brief feud with Shinsuke Nakamura, he vanished from the latter earlier this year but recently reappeared and teased a gimmick change.

For two weeks, the Showoff has failed to deliver on that and just pokes fun at his fellow WWE Superstars. Well, it now sounds like this is all leading to Ziggler once again serving as an enhancement talent as he's reportedly been brought back to TV to feud with Bobby Roode.

It sounds like this is the only reason he's back on TV and the signs are pointing to him leaving the company in October when his contract expires. In fact, it's believed that it's "very unlikely" he'll renew his deal and that lines up with other reports we've been hearing (including the fact he hopes to revitalise his career on the independent circuit or New Japan Pro Wrestling). We'll just have to wait and see!
