This Monday's episode of RAW was the go home show for Sunday's WWE TLC PPV but neither that nor the fact that The Shield made their original entrance for the first time in over three years was enough to boost ratings. The show drew a total of 2.688 million viewers, a figure that's down from last week's 2.871 million viewers and the lowest it's done since all the way back in mid-June!
This is a surprise considering the fact that a Steel Cage match featuring Braun Strowman and Roman Reigns was advertised well ahead of time but that is a clash we've seen numerous times this year.
It's not all bad news, though. RAW was squaring off against both NFL on ESPN and MLB on Fox and the third hour didn't suffer the same sort of massive drops as previous shows have. The first hour drew 2.731 million viewers, the second hour drew 2.728 million viewers and the final hour drew 2.606 million viewers. That's definitely an improvement and one WWE/USA has got to be very happy about.
