Despite What Happened On RAW, Asuka Is Reportedly Still Scheduled To Face Charlotte Flair At WRESTLEMANIA

On last night's episode of RAW, the announce team seemed to make it clear that Asuka will challenge Alexa Bliss at WrestleMania. However, a new report points to WWE having a different title match in mind.

Seeing as Asuka is drafted to RAW, common sense says that she will challenge Alexa Bliss for the RAW Women's Championship at this year's WrestleMania. However, WWE has made it clear that this year's Rumble winners could choose a champion from either brand and that's why the company has seemingly been playing coy with that the Empress of Tomorrow will be doing in April.

Well, while the RAW announce team pointed to Asuka vs. Alexa Bliss taking place at the Showcase of the Immortals, Dave Meltzer claims that the plan is still for the undefeated former NXT Women's Champion to do battle with SmackDown Live Women's Champion Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania.

As for RAW, it's been rumoured for a while now that we'll see Alexa Bliss vs. Nia Jax but it's also feasible that Bayley and Sasha Banks could somehow factor into that given what happened last night. Either way, the question of how we get to Asuka vs. Charlotte Flair currently remains unanswered.
