We've been hearing a lot lately about the fact that The Miz and Dolph Ziggler have renewed their WWE contracts and even more details have now been revealed. According to Dave Meltzer, The Miz has indeed signed a new four-year deal which is pretty unprecedented for the most part. Ziggler, meanwhile, has signed a two-year deal as has SmackDown Live's Mojo Rawley (for some reason).
Since winning the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal last year, WWE hasn't really given Rawley a push but it's thought that the company definitely sees a lot of promise in him moving forward.
The same is said for Ziggler as well and that could explain why he's been put in the match for the WWE Championship at Fastlane over the likes of Randy Orton, Jinder Mahal, and current United States Champion Bobby Roode. It remains to be seen whether or not this trio receives significant pushes after re-signing with the company but you can't blame for them for deciding to stick with WWE!
