After all those conflicting reports, it now appears as if it's just a matter of time before Hulk Hogan returns to WWE. He was fired from the company back in 2015 after racist comments from a sex tape came to light and was then embroiled in a lawsuit with Gawker, the site that published it online before that.

Since then, we've heard multiple times that it's now up to WWE whether or not he'll get the opportunity to return as that could have a potentially negative impact on their sponsors and TV rights deal.

Well, according to TMZ, Hogan has been in talks with the company about a return and those discussions have been "positive." Apparently, the company considered bringing him in for the Greatest Royal Rumble event and while that didn't happen, it's got the two sides talking and it now sounds like WWE wants Hogan back and he's ready to return. It's just a case of making sure it's done "the right way."
