One of Extreme Rules' most highly anticipated matches was Intercontinental Champion Dolph Ziggler vs. Seth Rollins in a 30-minute Iron Man match. Needless to say, it most definitely delivered and we were treated to plenty of very cool surprises. Within a matter of minutes, Rollins was 3-0 up after a rollup, a Curb Stomp, and interference from Drew McIntyre (who was promptly banned from ringside).
After that, Ziggler landed four consecutive falls to take the lead to 4-3. Rollins then managed to tie things up and after hitting another Curb Stomp in the final seconds of the match, he was literally a split second too slow to make the cover and win the title. Thankfully, Kurt Angle came out to send the match into sudden death overtime and that's when things quickly started going wrong for Rollins.
McIntyre reemerged to distract Rollins and that left him open for a Zig Zag. As a result, Ziggler won 5-4 in a match which will no doubt be remembered for a long time to come. What did you guys think?
